A fire at the Delta Sherwood Inn in Port Carling has left structural damage to the kitchen and dining room.Esa Peltonen of the Resort told Moose FM this morning’s fire originated in the kitchen and spread out into the dining but was contained to the main building. Although the cause of the fire has not been confirmed, Peltonen was told by firefighters they believe it was an electrical fire that started the blaze. He also says that the safety and the security of the guests and the employees is the number one priority and that arrangements are being made to accommodate the guests at another resort.
