The Forest Is On Fire With Colour!

It’s the last day of September and the leaves are proof of the season. The fall colour report is out this week and Muskoka is starting to see vibrant reds and oranges with a 40 percent change. The Lookout tower in Dorset offers a great view of the colours as well as highways 35, 117 and 118. Further northeast, Algonquin Park is seeing Peak colour change, and the highway 60 corridor is at 90 percent change. Outside Muskoka, the Buttermilk Falls area on highway 35 just south of Minden is an outstanding place to view the colours.
