Happening Now: Help Make Huntsville's Active Living Centre A Place You Want To Use!

It’s time to speak up Huntsville. The clock is ticking for anyone who would like to give input into what the new Active Living Centre should contain. A public meeting was held Tuesday night on the matter, but the town still wants more ideas. For the most part, residents who are part of a community group pack the Algonquin Theatre for the meeting, but the town was asking for residents who were not already part of an organization. That’s because the town intends to get in touch with every user group for feedback. Programming and design ideas are needed from people who are looking ahead to retirement or are just entering retirement and who are not part of an organization. To share your ideas for the Active Living Centre contact Mike Greaves, Chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee at 789-3127.
