The Harper government has survived yet another confidence vote. With the NDP abstaining, a motion aimed at ousting the Conservatives was defeated. The New Democrats say they'll continue to back the minority Tories-- at least until jobless benefit improvements are passed. Parry Sound Muskoka M.P. Tony Clement says the goal of the Harper Government now that this hurdle has been passed is to continue to focus on the economy. But, is the constant threat of an election hurting the Liberals? When asked, Parry Sound Muskoka Liberal candidate Shawn Pudsey says it’s not just the liberals it’s hurting. Before yesterday's vote Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff issued a blistering warning that the Tories could change Canada beyond recognition if they remain in power.
