A vacant house on Britannia Road in Huntsville burnt to the ground last night. The fire started during the overnight hours but Huntsville’s Fire Chief Steve Hernen says it’s not clear exactly when. It took about 15 minutes for the Huntsville and Baysville firefighters to get the blaze at the small house under control. Herenen says the damage comes in at about $20,000. The investigation into what caused the fire is on-going.
