The township of Lake of Bays is gearing up for the next step in developing their strategic plan. Seven strategies have been identified in the plan and now residents are being asked to brainstorm on ways to achieve it’s vision. Council is expected to vote on the plan at their next regular meeting. In the days to follow, a public meeting will be set up for residents to attend. The groups will be formed simply by people choosing what strategy they’d like to work on. Volunteers are still needed to help organize the meeting. Otherwise, if you’d like to brainstorm on how to implement the strategies, the public meeting will be held on October 16th at the Dwight Community Centre from 9 until 4.
