You Need To Know: Muskoka's Economic Strategy Will Cost District More Money To Implement

Muskoka’s Economic Strategy is complete. Now councillors will have to decide if their going to use it. Scott Young, Chair of the Planning and Economic Development Committee says the plan is a good step forward and he hopes the District can carry out at least a few of the proposals. The plan outlines financial strategies for the District in various categories including labour, tourism and transportation. But Young said implementing the strategies means extra staff which means more money. The report will go to District Council for approval on October 5th.
