Next September Huntsville will host Muskoka’s first film festival. To kick off the countdown to the festival, the award winning documentary Manufactured Landscapes will be shown this weekend at the Algonquin Theatre. The feature is based on the works of world renowned artist Edward Burtynsky. The photographer challenges the ethics and aesthetics of civilian made debris, like recycling yards and quarries among other things. Canadian Director and Producer, Jennifer Baichwa will be at the screening and will take questions from the audience following the film. And, an after party will be held at Hidden Valley. For tickets to Saturday night’s screening and launch, contact the Algonquin Theatre Box Office.
