Hydro One is easing concerns about work being done around the District.Some residents have been questioning Hydro One’s extensive work of clearing bush overgrowth across Muskoka, wondering if could all be related to the G8. But Hydro One is assuring the community they are taking steps to improve service reliability after storms left some customers without power for close to a week this past winter. Hydro One also says they are currently expanding their apprentice program to train more specialists. Currently the company issues a lot of contract work to the United States because those workers are specially trained.
