Breaking News: Huntsville OPP Bust Grow Op Worth Over $4Million

A major score for Huntsville OPP. Five people have been arrested after police found a major grow operation in a rural part of town. Police say on Sunday they seized forty five hundred marihuana plants. The pot has a street value of 4 million five hundred thousand dollars. Charged with production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking is 48 year old Joseph Morton of Coldwater. Orillia resident’s 29 year old Wayne Griffin and 27 year old Joel Redmond face the same charge as well. 25 year old Tanya Walton of Orillia along with 38 year old Stephen Niskanen of Huntsville face charges of two counts of possession with the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance. Police say the investigation is on-going.
