A man is in Sunny Brook Hospital with self inflicted injuries after a standoff with police in McTier recently.Acting on a tip of a man in distress, Bracebridge OPP say they found the man wandering in a cemetery in the village at 1:00 this morning. Police say the man had a weapon and threatened to hurt himself. The Police were not able to convince the agitated man to put down his weapon before he inflicted wounds on himself. But the man was eventually taken into custody and transported to Sunnybrook in Toronto with serious injuries. The Special Investigations Unit continues to investigate.
